FODI is a support organisation for asylum seekers and refugees in Sunderland. Its primary aim is to promote the well being of asylum seekers and assist with their integration into wider society.

The North of England Refugee Service is an independent and charitable organisation which exists to meet the needs and promote the interests of asylum seekers and refugees who have arrived or have settled in the North of England.

We are a community sponsorship group, about to welcome our first family. However we also have close ties and friendships with local Syrians who have resettled in the area through VPRS over the last 5 years.
