Refugee Employment Job’s Fair Success!

That’s a wrap! Thank you to everyone that attended our latest jobs fair in London, hosted by EY. More than 450 attendees from dozens of countries joined us, and with over 55% of them securing job interviews at the event, and over 90% planning on applying to one or more of the employers that attended we couldn’t be more thrilled at the outcome.

This event was an overwhelming success, with over 50 volunteers, language interpreters, 12 charities and 12 employer exhibitors we truly felt our purpose come to life, the palpable sense of community and tremendously positive feedback from the refugees was a stark reminder of why we do what we do.

We couldn’t have done this without each and every person that attended, volunteered and devoted their time to making this happen and for this we are extremely thankful. The countless hours, positive energy and compassion that went into this event and its resulting success is a testament to the fantastic people we have supporting us, our refugees and our communities.

In light of its success, we plan to hold more career fairs in 2023, with likely sites of Aberdeen, Birmingham, and London within the first half of 2023. Stay tuned to our social media and our website for more updates on that and we can’t wait to see you all there!
