We are searching for enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly Waiters & Bartenders, room attendants, chefs de partie, sous chefs, and receptionists to play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.

Macdonald Manchester Hotel, set in the heart of Cottonopolis, is Manchester’s largest four-star hotel with 338 bedrooms including 18 suites.  We are passionate about great food, service, value at Macdonald Manchester Hotel. Simple ingredients, cooked to perfection by talented chefs.

We are looking for Waiters & Bartender who have at least one year’s experience.  We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year so we need you to be flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.

Welcome, serve and look after our guests so that they have an outstanding experience – think like a customer.

Up-sell with latest departmental incentives and be a champion of brand standards – we want you to know our menus back to front!

Ensure cleanliness of work areas and comply with health and safety rules and be environmentally aware

Work with our team to create a friendly atmosphere our guests will love

What do we need from you?

At least one year’s experience in a food and beverage service environment

The ability to constantly perform well in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of the department

Take responsibility for understanding our products and services

Proactively look for ways to improve or enhance the guest experience

What are you waiting for?

English required: basic for back-of-house roles, good spoken English and ability to understand requests for front-of-house roles
